The Trustees of SEMPRE (Society for Education, Music and Psychology Research) invite bids to design and develop a new website, fully functional across all devices.

The resulting website should be:

  • Accessible to at least W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2 Level AA conformance
  • GDPR compliant
  • Compliant with the latest HTML, CSS and JavaScript standards
  • Designed and engineered for optimal SEO
  • Developed for optimal performance (low page weight, efficient image delivery, optimisation of caching strategy, and so forth, in accordance with current recommended practices.)
  • Integrated with a 3rd party payments gateway, such as Shopify or SagePay. Recurring payments would be taken for annual membership fees, as well as ad-hoc payments for events. Payments will be taken in various currencies
  • Integrated with a 3rd party mailing list platform, such as MailChimp, and provision of custom mail templates
  • Integrated with SEMPRE’s X/Twitter and Facebook social media accounts
  • Integrated with Sage for the inclusion of journal articles
  • Easy for non-technical users to continuously maintain, and hosted on a commercial CMS platform such as WordPress, Wix or SquareSpace

In addition, there is the need to provide designs for email templates, to migrate the new hosting platform, and to migrate the existing content from the legacy website to the new site.
